Occam Networks Partners with Pacific Star Communications to Extend Reseller Network
Newest Member of Occam Channel Sales Program will Offer BLC 6000 to the U.S. Government as Part of Video and Data Solutions
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – January 11, 2005 Occam Networks Inc. (OTCBB: OCCM) , a supplier of innovative Ethernet and IP-based loop carrier equipment to telecommunications companies worldwide, today announced it has signed a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with Pacific Star Communications, of Portland, OR. Pacific Star will resell Occam's Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) 6000 Platform of next-generation data and video services to independent operating companies (IOC) and U.S. government entities located domestically and abroad.

Pacific Star Communications offers advanced telecommunications services to critical military installations for the U.S. Department of Defense. These services support the men and women who serve in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Marines, and other military and civilian organizations. Pacific Star also works with valued Independent Local Exchange and service provider customers nationwide, including state and local governments, and Indian reservations developing their own telephone networks.

Pacific Star Communications is the newest member of Occam's Channel Sales Program. The Occam Channel Sales Program provides VARS with a dependable partner that can design the network, install the equipment, and provide ongoing maintenance and support to IOCs as they deploy Video over Demand and Voice over IP solutions. Occam's IP architecture is designed specifically to ensure that Pacific Star's BLC System can transform the current access network into an access network that can easily deliver the service they need.
