What is IPTV? Why is it better than cable TV? Why consider a packet-switched broadband architecture when so many companies make a good business out of deploying a traditional cable architecture based upon frequency division multiplexing? Occam's current and potential customers need an explanation of the two competing television access technologies and, more importantly, a vision of where IPTV is going and the impact that IP could have on the consumer television experience.
