Announcing the first Occam On-Line Training Course: Introduction to TCP/IP and VoIP Technologies
Improve your skills without leaving the office! Occam has produced, in association with Watershed Networks, a Web-based technical introduction to TCP/IP and VoIP. This on-line self-paced course introduces technologies as specifically applied in our BLC networks. It is designed to serve as a prerequisite course to the 4-day BLC Installation and Operations class.
The training material includes text, graphics and illustrations, an audio lecture, and interactive exercises. The target audience is Telco Technicians, with limited or no IP experience, who need additional knowledge to prepare for the Occam hands-on course. The on-line class is also of value for those not able to attend further Occam training; as well as Management and Planning personnel with responsibilities for BLC networks who need to understand IP technology concepts and vocabulary.
Upon receipt of your purchase order at Occam, the student will be supplied with a login code (and printed workbook) to access the on-line class from anywhere on the web. The class may be started and stopped at will (end-to-end course time is 5-6 hours). The login code remains active for seven days from first use.
